The information presented here is intended for members of Operation Just Cause. Adopting a POW/MIA {when we use this term, it is meant to include KIA(bnr)} gives you automatic membership. It also comes with responsibility. The intent of our adoption program is to generate information requests in the form of letters, emails, and/or faxes to your elected officials requesting information on the current status of your adopted hero(s) and what is being done to bring him/her/them home.It is also entirely appropriate to make an honor page for your adopted(s). This page would include the information on then incident report, additional information you have acquired through other sources, patriotic and POW/MIA related graphics, music, etc.. Music and graphics are available here and at many places on the Internet. It is important when making pages for the Internet that you give proper credit to the author or creator of the graphic or music when it is not something you have made yourself. Please give credit whenever possible. In the author is unknown, credit your source.
We even have our own Ring for those interested. We have incident reports for Vietnam to present. Did you know there are others still missing from Vietnam, and the Cold War? And the first Gulf War? There are missing from all wars! Documentation is not readily available on service personnel missing prior to Vietnam.
This information is one of the benefits of having computers. There is plenty of information available at OJC to help you with all this. Go to our entry page, or our main menu. There are links below for Adoption, Communication Central, and the Ring, as well.
P at the right of a link indicates a photo is included.Civilians are listed as MIA even though they are not missing "in action".
Individuals with a status of KIA and their body has been recovered will be listed in the area labeled, "Personnel in Incident", but will not be listed on this page (will not have an incident report) Those who are listed as status KIA(bnr) {body not recovered} will be listed and have an incident report.
Please remember, Operation Just Cause is involved with the return of all POW, MIA and KIA(bnr).
If you want information on all KIA, contact the news agencies and/or the branches of the service or the DoD.More information will be added as soon as we can correlate it and validate it. This means the incident reports may change. The status may change. Effort will first be spent on getting new POW/MIA listed. Then attention goes to updating already listed information. Every effort is made to ensure accuracy other than waiting around to see how it all comes out. This information is important NOW. We need to show support for all these American heroes. Not only for them but to demonstrate to all active duty personnel that we are here for them and we will not rest until all service personnel coming in harm's way are each returned to us.
Warning - The material on these pages concerns the current status on real people in a real war. If you are not an adult, have your parent/guardian do this with you or ask them to check it out first. If you are especially sensitive to these topics, it is not recommended that you continue. There are NO pictures here other than those released by the media of live POW's or MIA's. They may be injured.
