Scars and Stripes  - Red McDaniel's autobiography is an inspiring account of his experience as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam and illustrates Red's commitment to preserving the principles of freedom and keeping America strong.

After the Hero's Welcome  - Another important ADI work is Dorothy McDaniel's moving story of the McDaniel family's life before, during, and after Red's traumatic confinement.  The book also depicts the unfolding vision of ADI.

Freedom Series  - A collection of resources including the books Scars and Stripes, After the Hero's Welcome, Kiss the Boys Goodbye by Monica Jensen Stevenson and the video documentary Americans Abandoned which
highlights the struggle of POWs in Vietnam, their families, and
